The genesis of Shilhandara took the same course as all the other themed properties of Rashi Eco Tourism have. Most of the brewing happened a million years ago, since the days of magma, to the centuries of weathering to create the perfect crevices and boulders. The wind, the rains and the climate have architectured the terrain. And then was the moving era of the empires, with the stone art and their idiom-like sculptures. From the times of the Hoysalas, the Vijayanagaras, the Chola and the Chalukyas, we seek to forge a days experience. Knowing well to meld the adrenaline surge and the reverential ambience we stand to bring out the unique theme. Our property houses an elegant 800 foot monolith, housing most of the adventure sports and some of the most serene sunset landscapes. Our list begins with one of the countries longest ziplines and moves on to include paintball, ATVs and a blazing list of activities. The very little we have done to alter the natural scape is planting over 15000 trees. Cooling the soil down, it has called back many a birds, those native and new to Ramanagara. The Candid outdoor pool infront of ancient looking bath mantaps, is hoped to rob you off of your stress. Shilhaandara Resort is a very unique property. The Resort being very close to Bangalore or Bengaluru host a bunch of adventure activities like paintball, zipline, other rope activites etc. Shilhaandara Resort has been review to be one of the best resorts in Bengaluru or Bangalore. The room was good and clean. We booked the jacuzzi room but the water was not hot on most occasions. The food was really really bad and we had to go outside to eat. The resort is open to public so not a great experience if you are looking for a secluded quiet vacation. The resort has a lot of activities but very basic and not really a great experience. Overall would not visit again and would not recommend.

Old property, not well maintained complete smoking smell in the room, not cleaned properly. Bathroom door was not fitting. Food was average

Really disappointed stay. Washroom was not cleaned and ac was not working they took 1 hour to repair and again they told they required 1 hour and at end not resolved after paying 10k (jacuzzi)for 1 days stay this we never expected and room was in make my trip recommended really disappointed and i won't suggest jacuzzi room for anyone. Waste of money.

It was a very good experience with scenic views, gorgeous rooms and amazing food. I would recommend this for all kinds of people though for elderly people it might be tough to go to the dining area for each and every meal in case of buffet, they can opt for in room dining options.

We had booked a pool room worth 11, 163 rupees, but the room service was worst, pool was full of insects & bugs, food was not up to the mark, they did not provide us basic essential like, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tooth paste, tissue paper, hygiene was not maintained, worst hotel management, i would never suggest this stay to anybody who is reading this review, not worth the stay, in-spite of booking super packages we have to pay extra for lunch & dinner, overall worst place to hang out. They don’t even deserve a single star.

Soumithre pool room was awesome. Private pool with a spacious room was very relaxing and rejuvenating. Perfect to windup from busy city life. Food was awesome too.
